Did you ever realize that Amateurs and Professionals handle this differently ?

When amateurs talks to somebody about their business and that prospect says “No” they get a little bit frustrated but in hope something changes they will follow up with the new information about comp plan, rank advance or with some successful story. If prospect say “NO” again then the amateur deletes that prospect from their list. They think that prospect’s “NO” means that they are not open and they will never be open – “it’s waste of time to talk to them”.

The reason why is that Professional knows that “NO” means “NOT NOW”, they don’t delate them from their phone book ;). There can be many reasons why your prospect says “NO” at the first time. They may have some troubles in their house, they are too busy right now, they just got fired or got new job etc.  Professional Network Marketer would follow up with that kind of prospect another time. They will stick around and build a relationship before they recruit them.

When you are talking to somebody about your product or opportunity realize that the first “NO” is not real. If you don’t believe me there is a question for you. When you first time heard about Network Marketing company did you say “YES! I’m in! I’m so excited! Where should I write my credit card number?!” Well some of network marketers would say that ;) but most of you probably said “NO” or you had a lot of doubts and worries while saying “yes”. But here you are Reading and learning about network marketing..

Yes!Remember that “NO doesn’t mean “NO! Forever” If someone tells you “NO” follow up with them another time, give them some value try to find their pain and help them. This way they may get more Open and someday they will say
“YES! I’m so excited!”
