There are many reasons why people have a bad image or think it’s a scam. One of the reasons is that people are used to working 8 hours to a job every day and at the end of the week or month get paid for their work. This lifestyle prevents them believing that there is a better way and that you can actually make money on other peoples’ efforts.
Even the frame I wrote now “make money on other people’s efforts” will sound to them like a scam or will make them feel bad for the people who do the effort.
Here is a thing that people need to understand, yes multi-level marketing business can set you free but nothing comes easily and you need to work before you achieve any goal. So if someone joins MLM Business with a hope that after a week or 6 months they will be able to stop working and they will be free, I’m sorry to make those people disappointed but it’s not gonna happen.
Same thing with “making money by other’s efforts”. In MLM you make money by the “chain” of sales. If your team and their team sales more products you earn a bigger profit. This is easy to understand I think but nothing comes so easy, you need to be willing to help your team, inspire them and show them the right way. Without this, your team will just break apart. So for you to make more money you need to be willing to help your team more money, it’s a win-win business plan, so no one needs to feel bad by “making money by other’s efforts”.

It’s almost impossible for you to make someone change their mind and suddenly believe in something. So if you want to change your uncle Joe’s thoughts about multi-level marketing you can do it only by showing the results. Just know that even you create a successful business with your MLM company, uncle Joe still might have a same negative opinion about your business.
Here are a couple of things you can do to help someone change their opinion about network marketing:
1. create massive results and show them that your life changed a lot because of this profession
2. invite them to your company’s event so they could see the culture and other awesome people
3. leave them alone ;)
The 3rd. one is the most powerful. In my opinion, it’s a waste of your time trying to change someone’s opinion when that person has a bad image about your business. Instead of using your time for convincing them to focus on finding those people who are more open-minded and would like to at least try to do the business.

To do it you need to ask questions that are gonna trigger their emotions and imagination.
