I am sure you had some failures or terrible things happened in your life. It’s hard to overcome that especially when you had a mental breakdown at that time. The pain stays inside use and it’s not easy to live with it.
It’s easy to say, “move forward“, “the past is just a past” but for many people shadows from the past are all the time with them. There is a way you can fight with the bad experiences from the past. The best way to fight with the past is to focus on the future. Before you say, that it’s hard to focus on the future with that kind of experience I want to remind you that humans have an imagination that they can use in any kind of circumstances. At first, it might not be easy, but when you practice, it will become just a normal thing for you.
The only stronger thing from the shadows from the past is the light from the future. It really doesn’t matter if thinking about future is about your family, your dream house, your job or business. But you need to focus on the future. If you had some bad experience in your life probably you are focusing most of your energy on the past. This doesn’t make sense. From now on you need to start using your energy for thinking about the future.
Build strong and bright vision of you, your family and your career. Every day take 30 min to focus on your vision. It should be 15 min at morning time and 15 min at night time. The light of the future will make the shadows go away and your life will never be the same again.
