You’ve built a network marketing team and now you are trying to find a way to motivate them. It’s your team, your family and you as a leader really want them to get better results and reach the top earner rank.
There are a couple of things that you can actually do if you want to motivate your team but before that, you need to find out what your team members want.
You may try to motivate everybody in your team but the truth is that not everybody wants to be the top earner, not everybody is willing to do the work to rank up. Some of your team members don’t even want to build a business and they are happy enough with being just a customer.
So, if you are thinking about motivating your team, first thing is to find out what your team wants.
To motivate your team you need to be the leader that do the things that you wish your team was doing. Instead of motivating your team INSPIRE them. If you want them to do more cold calling you need to be the frist that is going to do the massive cold calling, if you want them to go to the company events you need to be the one that shows up at the company event before you even build a team.
You attract who you are so if you are the leader that is going to that top earner rank, you do the work no matter what then you are going to attract that kind of people. To motivate that kind of people is a bit easier because leaders are already fired up, but still you need to be the one that does the things that you wish your team was doing.
Another thing to motivate your team is to create a vision for a team.
Don’t focus only on your vision. Your team members should be a big part of your vision, the goals should be at least similar for everybody.
The last thing that you can do to motivate your team is to give exposure to those that are active and get results. If a Joe will recruit 2-4 people every week, put a spotlight on him, get him on the team call so he could share his strategy with others. Post some amazing message on his social media and present him as a Leader. This will inspire and motivate your team because they will want to get recognized, they will want you to tell them that they are awesome and that they are doing an amazing job.
So if you want to motivate your team, first of all, be the leader and do the things that you wish your team was doing. Secondly, expose active members and their results. If you do those things your team will get fired up like never and your team will get bigger and bigger.
