The difference here is when you take a step back your prospects will think “oh, he doesn’t want to just make money by me…. maybe I can try?” but if you try too hard close them by saying that they will be great at this, your prospects will simply think that you are just trying to make another sale. When you take a step back you are actually pulling prospects to you.
