Have you ever put attention to your words? Do you realize how many negative and non-successful word you use every single day? People who struggle in business and life put oil into the self sabotage engine every day and they are wondering why they keep struggling. Today I wanted to share some thoughts about self sabotage and how to prevent it.

Self Sabotage The Root Of Breakdown

If you are starting a business it’s not easy to hear negative opinions of others. You can feel that no one believes in you and you just want to quit. This happens all the time to most of the people, it happened to me so I know how it feels. In my case, I was excited about my business, was thinking about it every day and I was talking to friends and family about it. But the only supportive was my wife and her mother, anybody else was only bashing my ideas and telling me that I am not able to do anything and the business will never work. That didn’t feel good and almost made me quit on my dreams. You feel tired and overwhelmed when people constantly tell you negative things, so there is no need to do it to yourself and self sabotage exactly makes you feel like you are a loser. The Words You Use

Everybody knows that thinking negative way attract negative things to us, but saying negative things without even thinking can attract bad things and it creates self sabotage. We have a conscious mind and subconscious mind and the second one is way more powerful than the first one. People can influence others subconsciously to make them do what they want. There are many books like How To Influence The Thoughts And Actions Of Others or “Successful Guide to Human Psychology and Manipulation” where you can learn how to Influence other’s thoughts. I want you to realize that since it’s possible to control someone’s subconscious mind it’s also possible to control your own mind, and you do it every time you speak.

You should put attention to the words you say because it has a huge impact on your private life and business life. When you use words wrongly you create self sabotage. Words like “Overwhelmed“, “Tired“, “Disappointed“, “Sad” and phrases “I can’t do this“, “I am not good enough“, “I am not sure if I can make it“, “What if it doesn’t work” etc. All those words and phrases are creating self sabotage. What’s the scariest part is that most of the people use those words and phrases without even thinking about them. For some people, it becomes a habit to say those things.

If you want to prevent self sabotage, you need to stop using those words and phrases.

Positive Thinking & Personal Growth

Another important thing about preventing self sabotage is to start thinking about positive things. This will break the pattern of self negative thinking self sabotage  and will help you with personal growth. As an Entrepreneur, you probably know that success mostly comes from the mindset. It won’t be easy to change the self sabotage words and phrases with positive thinking or words at the first, but it’s important to work on it.

For example except saying “I am not sure if I can do it” you can say “I will figure it out how to do it“. The second phrases have a big positive impact and it put you back on the path to success.

I hope you will pay more attention to what you are saying and to what you are thinking. If you work hard to change the habits of self sabotage, your business will change and your life will change as well.
