Entrepreneurs never stop getting a rejection. Either it’s a new idea, their product, business type or even their personality the rejection always happen during the journey. The different between successful entrepreneurs and those who didn’t succeed yet is that those who succeed can handle the rejection easily.
I would say that some of them don’t even feel like being rejected which makes the process even easier. Would you like to get to that level? Based on many conversations with successful entrepreneurs I notice that they have different thoughts about being rejected than most of the people.
There are a couple of factors for being rejected. It could be a bad business idea, not enough details in the business plan, too big risk, someone maybe just doesn’t match to your personality or people who you talked to had just a bad day. Even if your idea is amazing and you believe that you can generate massive profits, you don’t have strong enough posture, you don’t speak with a confidence and that could cause the rejection as well.
There can me many reasons why you get rejected. Each of us gets rejected for different reasons and it’s impossible not to get rejected at some point.
As you already know that it’s impossible to run from the rejection, entrepreneurs have a unique way to deal with it. Many people get frustrated and sometimes even depressed when they get rejected, it’s all about your feelings.
Successful entrepreneurs don’t see rejection as a rejection but they see it as a one step closer to the goal. They know that this is a necessary process so when someone rejects them usually they would say “Great! I am getting closer“.
There is a book called “Go For No” written by Richard Fenton & Andrea Waltz. What you can learn from the book is that ever “NO” get’s you closer to the “YES“.
This is exactly how successful entrepreneurs think about rejection and this is how they handle it.
You are smarter than you think, you are not a looser. Even someone tells you that you are a moron and that your idea sucks, don’t believe it. There are times in your life when you didn’t know how to do something and you were terrible at doing it. But you practiced and you learned how to do it better. Reading this blog post is already a smart move. I am not saying that because I am proud of me writing this post, but because you want to step up. You didn’t give up on your dreams and you want to move forward. That’s why you are reading this.
You need to keep the N.G.U. & I.A.U. feeling with yourself all the time. No matter how many times you fail you are strong and you are smart enough to make it happen. Say to yourself every single day: “Never Give Up & I Am Unstoppable” and trust yourself because deep inside you already know who you want to become.
Be Great! Be Unstoppable!
